Forth Valley Royal to have field of poppies

Flanders fields of poppies will bloom and blow at Forth Valley Royal Hospital this year to mark 100 years since the start of the First World War and as a mark of remembrance of the sacrifice in conflicts that the Armed Services and their families continue to make.

Hundreds of runners set to take part in the Doubletree Road Race next month

Hundreds of runners and joggers are expected to gather at the bottom of the famous sloping front lawn of the DoubleTree by Hilton Dunblane Hydro as the annual 7.5 mile Road Race returns on Sunday 4 May at 1pm.
